We need YOU!



Our organization cannot exist without volunteers to help make game days a positive and exciting environment for our athletes.  So it's a good thing that volunteering with NLYFA is fun! 

Opportunities for earning volunteer credits for the league include scorekeeper, announcer, video, split the pot, chains, trash, homecoming committee assignments and other positions. Videos detailing how to do each of these jobs can be found here.

Each family is required to volunteer for four credits during the season. There is a $200 fee charged PER CREDIT each time one is not fulfilled. The cost to opt out of volunteering for the season is $750 and that option is available at the time of registration only. 

Volunteer sign up will occur online and you will be notified when the sign up period is open. Time frames for games are approximate and can run longer due to weather conditions or injuries on the field. Please keep this in mind when you are signing up, as we need you to be there for the entire game. If you are unable to fulfill your assignment and have exhausted all other options, you must notify your Volunteer Director.

In order to get credit for volunteering you must check in with the Volunteer Director. Failure to do will be considered a NO SHOW and will be charged.
